Stretch Ceiling Finishes
Backlit Stretch Ceiling Installation
Luminous, evenly diffused backlit stretch ceilings that transform any room into a softly glowing, architectural statement. Installed across the UK by Phlex Interiors.
What Is a Backlit Stretch Ceiling?
A backlit stretch ceiling uses a translucent PVC membrane stretched over a concealed LED panel or light box. The LEDs illuminate the membrane from behind, creating a perfectly even, glowing surface with no visible light sources, hotspots, or shadows.
Phlex Interiors designs and installs backlit stretch ceilings for residential and commercial clients across the UK. The effect ranges from a soft, diffused ambient glow to a bold, high-brightness architectural feature, depending on the membrane opacity and LED specification.
Backlit ceilings can be installed as full-ceiling panels, partial feature sections, or geometric shapes integrated into a larger ceiling design. They are compatible with colour-changing RGB LEDs, tunable white systems, and printed membranes for an added layer of visual impact.
